I know personality is important, but looks are also important to people. especially for that initial chemistry. Make sure it is a good clear photo as well. If someone is not going to like you because of your looks it is far better that this happens during the profile browsing stage than when you are out on a date!

TIP #2 – Write an eye catching headline. A lot of people browse through dating sites super fast. They are in a rush and don’t want to spend a lot of time looking in detail and reading every profile they come across. Apart from looking at your photo, the first thing that many people will do it read the headline of your dating profile. This is your chance to attract their attention and get them to be interested enough to read on.

TIP #3 – Enlist a friend to help you out. If you are struggling to create a good profile ask one of your friends to help you out. Even better get a friend or colleague of the opposite sex to help you out! Ask them to read what you have written so far and give you their first impressions. Ask them to be honest and give you feedback.

TIP #4 – Upgrade to a paid membership. You will find that more people contact you if you take a paid membership with a dating site. I know this can be hard for some people, especially if you are having “one of these days”, or if things are just not going well in your life just now, but being positive will attract a lot more people. TIP #6 – Consider posting multiple photos. Most dating sites allow you to post more than one photo on your profile and this can help people to get a better idea of what you look like. Again, don’t worry about putting people off – everyone has different tastes here and as I said earlier, it is better for someone to decide not to contact you because they don’t feel attracted to your profile than to face rejection in reality!
